Privacy policy

ULTRA TV MMC (tax id 1505186341, Baku) is a platform operator licensed by the Audiovisual Council of Azerbaijan. This policy covers the ultratv.az website, the ULTRA TV apps (TV, phone, tablet, browser) and the subscriber service.
We process personal data under the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Personal Data", and only as far as the service needs. Your data is not used for advertising and is never sold.
What we collect
Mobile number. The only identifier of your account; a one-time code is sent by SMS when you sign in. No password and no e-mail are required.
Devices. The device type (TV, phone, tablet, browser) and an identifier the app itself generates, to enforce the limit of three devices per subscription. A device unused for 60 days is removed automatically.
Network address (IP). To honour the territory terms of the channels’ broadcast rights (some channels may be shown only within Azerbaijan) and for abuse limits. We do not determine your precise location, only the country.
Viewing sessions. Which channel was opened and when, for the limit of three simultaneous streams and for catch-up; kept for a short time.
Payment data. Your MilliÖN customer code, the payment provider’s transaction number and the amount. Card details never reach us; payment happens inside Hesab.az or MilliÖN.
Parental control PIN. Stored only as an irreversible hash.
The website. We use no cookies; your chosen theme and language stay in your browser and are not sent to us. The name, number, e-mail and message from the contact form are used only to reply to you.
The wishlist. A mobile number left on the home page is confirmed with an SMS code and kept only to tell you when the ULTRA TV app is ready. You can ask us to remove it at any time through the contact page.
Why we use it
To provide the service and protect your account; to comply with the licence and the broadcast rights, including territory restrictions; to reconcile payments; to prevent abuse; to support you.
Who we share it with
The SMS provider (1sms.az): only your number and the one-time code, for delivery. The payment providers (Hesab.az, MilliÖN): to confirm a payment. Our content partner receives no personal data at all. Public authorities: only where and how the law requires.
Data is kept on servers operated by ULTRA TV and is not passed to third-party analytics or advertising systems.
How long we keep it
One-time codes: one day. Device records: removed after 60 days without use. Viewing sessions: a short time. Account data: for the life of the subscription and until the account is closed. Payment and audit records: for the period accounting and legal requirements prescribe.
Your rights
You may access and correct your data, close your account and ask for your data to be deleted. Write to us through the Contact page or call; we answer within 30 days.
When an account is closed, your number and devices are deleted; payment records the law requires us to keep remain in anonymised form.
Security
Every connection is encrypted (HTTPS). One-time codes and the PIN are stored as hashes, sign-in attempts are rate-limited, and every change is written to an immutable audit log. Only authorised staff can reach the data.
Children
The service is for adults. 18+ channels are protected by the parental control PIN and are absent from the mobile apps altogether.
Changes
Changes to this policy are published on this page with the date of the update.
